About Los Cristianos
Before the hotels arrived, Los Cristianos was the south's main fishing port — and the harbour still sets the rhythm of the town. Ferries leave daily for the western islands, the old centre stays pedestrian and Spanish in feel, and the two sheltered beaches are among the calmest swimming spots in the south. It suits families and anyone who prefers a real town to a purpose-built resort.
The drive from the airport
Being the closest big resort to Tenerife South, the transfer is a short hop: straight down the TF-1 and into town in around 20 minutes. It is often the first drop-off of the day, which means less time in the vehicle and more time on the beach.
